I am an experienced swing and musical theatre singer and jazz cabaret artist based in Wales but performing throughout the UK.
I have my own PA but also have access to a pianist, jazz trio/quartet and a big band, depending on requirements.
I do bespoke gigs, such as all-Sinatra/Rat Pack/Buble/Johnny Mercer/Great American Songbook/Musical Theatre Standards, etc.
I have a reprertoire of hundreds of songs, from old music hall standards, through the Great American Songbook and swing classics, to musical theatre standards, modern ballads and pop songs in a jazzy style, and am happy to consider learning new songs as required.
Born in Cardiff, I was brought up in Pontypridd in the South Wales Valleys.
I have been singing most of my life (which is quite a long time!), from choir in school and as a soloist in school Eisteddfods. In my teens I appeared in numerous school musicals and around this time I started singing lessons in the classical baritone repertoire, though I eventually gave this up, joining a funk/soul band in my twenties.

As resident male vocalist with Swingcopation since 2014, I sing at numerous events with the band and their smaller incarnation, the Swingcopation10. I also perform with the Jazz Laddz trio/quartet, and with Josh Moon on piano.
I am a musical theatre actor with both Newport Playgoers and Newport Operatic Societies. I have recently appeared in Love Story: the Musical, 'Duets' and Coward's 'Waiting in the Wings', and was Deputy Stage Manager for 'Deathtrap', all at the Dolman Theatre. I also appeared as Joe Gillis in Newport Operatic Society's production of 'Sunset Boulevard' also at the Dolman ... Theatre in November 2015.
I was a semi-finalist in the London Gay Big Band's 'X-Mas Factor', their search for a new lead singer, in December 2014. This led to my being invited to perform on the Pride in London Cabaret Stage in Soho, June 2015, and making numerous music and cabaret contacts in London, where I am increasingly spending my time.
I am part of a group of performers who make up the 'Pirate Jenny Cabaret' ensemble, and recently performed with them in Cardiff, performing songs from 'La Cage' and 'Les Mis'. More information on Pirate Jenny can be found at: http://www.pjcmanagement.co.uk. This September I will be joining them for 'Showtune!', the Jerry Herman Songbook. Last October I also performed with the Welsh Musical Theatre Orchestra at their concert, 'Shows & Soundtracks', in Treorchy.
I have recently performed at Excess All Areas' 'Cabaret Confidential' at the Pheasantry Jazz Club in Chelsea, the highlights video of which can be found on the 'Video & Audio' tab. In January 2016 I presented my Johnny Mercer show, 'Too Marvelous For Words', at Le Crazy Coqs, Piccadilly where I had been invited by the Emmy Award-winning producer, Ruth Leon. The venue won the 2015 Cabaret Venue of the Year at the London Cabaret Awards, and is where I have recently depped twice for Harold Sanditen, hosting the famous weekly Open Mic Night.
In February 2016 I performed the role of Tom Klebold, in Michael Lowe's new musical, 'Columbine', which premiered at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, and in May 2016 I performed the role of Dr Alec Harvey in Everyman production of 'Brief Encounter' at the Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff.
I am a vocal coach/tutor at the new Chepstow Community Centre, which opened in September 2015. Details for this can be found at: http://chepstowcommunitymusiccentre.weebly.com.
