Also called Miss K... is a singer/songwriter/actress/performer/dance instructor/choreographer/powerful creator that came into this world with a passion for the spotlight. Born in London Ontario, K grew up surrounded by a music-loving, artistic family and her comprehensive repertoire mirrors her appreciation for many genres of music. Her influences include Big-Band, Jazz, Pop, Funk, R&B, Soul, Motown, Blues, Classical and Rock.
Throughout her life, Karen has enjoyed sharing her talents, whether it be acting out drama skits on the fly, writing poems and songs or showcasing ... in musicals, choirs, bands, and theatrical productions - both paid and in a voluntary capacity. After raising an amazing young lady, Karen decided to follow her own desires and ended up in Calgary Alberta. It was here that she became a dance instructor, got involved in the music scene, released her first EP in 2015 - Time and Again - and just released a new Christmas song in July, 2017 - Love for Christmas (and always). She is currently expanding her repertoire, preparing for world domination, and has formed a dynamic duo with Brian Quaye and they plan to take their talents abroad.
Miss K's love of music and passion for performance are evident in the way she lights up the stage. Her sound has been described as smooth, seductive and an auditory delight that you must encounter. She has an energy that will ignite your soul and fill you with joy and inspiration.
