This stylish music duo creates conceptual artistic experiences that sit somewhere between a yearning for nostalgia and a sense of timelessness.
Stripped down to a striking simplicity, their authentic sound subjugates and haunts through its raw interpretations of songs from the golden era of jazz.
Singer Bahia Pierce infuses the melodies and stories with her soulful voice and playful self-assurance, while musician and creative force Jake Morgan accompanies Bahia with his rhythmic mix of gypsy jazz and folk style guitar.

In 2015, Bahia and Jake lay the beginnings of the musical duo Radio Picture. Their common passion for woodland walks, atmospheric settings, and nostalgic imagery seeps through their musical experiments and makes their performances at once intimate and universal. After a spell of performances at Pop-Up Vintage Fairs throughout 2016, the duo is invited to play at Victualler Wine Bar in Wapping by dance choreographer and sculptor, Peter Wissmann. At the beginning of 2017, the duo performs with great success in Berlin, gaining great acclaim and a warm reception from the audience across the city. V
... enues like The Night Jar (Old Street), the Thames Boat Show (Henley), and an opening gig for the Philippe Pfeiffer Jewellery store in Spitalfields, build their growing popularity "as club performers and background ambient music" and cement their increased visibility within London’s musical space. Right now, Radio Picture is planning a small European tour scheduled to start in the summer of 2019, which will also form the subject of a documentary feature.
Of Argentinian and Canadian descent, singer Bahia Pierce begins her solo musical career in 2004 in her hometown, Montreal. In 2005 she works with internationally acclaimed producer Daniel Lanois (U2, Bob Dylan, Peter Gabriel) in L.A, recording the music for Temps Dur, a French Canadian television production. Following one of her radio performances on TVA Canada, Daniel Lanois states in a live interview that "it is very rare to hear a voice like Bahia’s." Thereupon she performs at MIDEM, the renowned music industry showcase in Cannes, as one of eight Canadian artists selected among musicians from over 90 countries.
From a young age, Bahia gains extensive experience whilst working as a session singer and performing in jazz clubs and cafés in her native Montreal. After meeting Keith Aspden, former Talk Talk manager, in 2010, Bahia decides to follow her musical path to London, where she continues to experiment with different songs and styles of folk, blues, country, and jazz to further develop her voice. In 2013 she rediscovers her love for classical music while stumbling across a little church in Hampstead Village - Heath street Baptist choir). In the summer of 2014, across a crowded pub on a(music night) or (open mic?) in London’s Camden Town, she spots Jake Morgan, a British musician, and songwriter, and becomes instantly and irrevocably drawn to his grounding presence and reassuring smile.
Jake’s musical career stretches across more than 15 years, during which time he performs around the globe as a solo artist, including the UK, Europe, and Australia. In 2012, Jake creates The Raven Band with musician friends from Birmingham's live music scene. After a good run of live shows including Nozstock, the Hidden Valley Festival 2012, the band part ways when Jake leaves the Birmingham area. Further collaborations include co-writing and recording the earnest Camden Town song with Australian bluesman Somerset Barnard and Irish singer-songwriter Pete Doolan, planned for release in 2019 on Somerset’s traveling collaborations album. His latest album Siso, released in 2018, is available on all major digital and streaming musical platforms.
