I have been playing the saxophone for 12 years and have a degree in music performance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. My major was concentrated in classical music, but I have had experience with genres such as jazz, latin, and funk.
Biography
John Pfeiffer has been studying at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with Dr. Robert Young since 2017. Since then he has been a member of the UNCSA Jazz Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, and several saxophone quartets and chamber ensembles. He received 3rd place at the 2017 MTNA Senior Performance competition in the state round and had the privilege to perform at venues such as the Reynolda House, Kings Amphitheater, and the Ramkat.
