Biography
SENSIJAM is a Reggae, Dub, Roots band that was formed in 2012 and started performing conscious and organic music to their audience.
It all started after a group of young musicians meet back again in Cyprus at their summer break of their higher educations in UK. The band members started their music career at very early ages and performed with each other in many different bands.
The band plays their music to convey positive thoughts to the Earth and raise consciousness by unity. Sensijam performed at several local venues and festivals in Cyprus, which made them a well-known and loved ban
... d for live reggae music in the whole island. The band members were involved in the organization of the first annual reggae festival of the island. The band also performs in bi-communal music events with the selectors from North and South side of the island to raise voice to the political conflicts separating the island.
SENSIJAM released their first single “UHURU” on 24.02.16 in partnership with “reggaeville” of Germany, from their upcoming EP. The EP will be released in summer 2017. As the things get hotter, the band completely moved to UK for an international exposure in 2015 and still performing around UK and Europe to engage with new audiences. The band is currently living in Bristol.
