Biography

Stereo Velvet Duo
Jorge Sandoval.
Jorge Sandoval is a saxophone player living in Mexico City, he studied in the Conservatorio de las Rosas and the Escuela Superior de Musica, where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Saxophone. Jorge has more than 10 years of professional experience in the music industry. He has performed in some of the most important venues of Mexico with audience of thousands of people, both with his own projects and side by side with well known international musicians. These performances include music festivals, musical theater productions, Big Bands, and bands of ... diverse genres such as Jazz, Rock, Pop, electronic and world music. He is currently part of renowned bands like Ensamble Metropolitano de Jazz, the Joe D'Etienne Big Band, and Stereo Velvet.
Guimel Romero.
Guimel Romero is a singer, dj and producer from Mexico City. She studied at the Music Conservatory of Puebla and at the Escuela Superior de Música from where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz and Scat Singing. Almost a decade of experience as a performer has led her to participate in Radio, Television and important festivals in Mexico, singing Pop, Jazz and regional music. At the same time she has developed in audiovisual production, in advertising campaigns and music videos, where she has been in charge of the direction, art direction, editing, preproduction and postproduction.
