Biography

Alyssa Harris is a dynamic vocalist, recording artist, and world-class entertainer based in New York City. She is well-known for her captivating stage presence and dynamic vocal ability, and has brought electrifying live performances to stages in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Austin, Atlanta, Nashville, NYC as well as internationally.
A few of Alyssa's starring roles include: Tina Turner in the Las Vegas strips’ award-winning production Vegas! The Show, and was a featured vocalist on FOX’s hit reality TV show I Can See Your Voice where her performance was called “So beautiful!” by R&B/Soul ... music legend Dionne Warwick. She was featured on ESPN and lauded by sports fans for her stirring rendition of the star-spangled banner for Austin Football Club (MLS). She portrayed Princess Tiana as a principal vocalist and character in Mickey & The Magical Map at Disneyland and has starred in various musical theatre productions including Evita and Hair. Alyssa was spotlighted as an "Incredible voice!" by Grammy winning-artist & Broadway star Deborah Cox for a singing challenge in 2021 where her viral singing video has amassed nearly one-million views. She has headlined several concerts at notable venues such as House of Blues Hollywood, Mandalay Bay, B.B. King’s Blues Club, Austin City Limits, Williamsburg Hotel, Tribeca Rooftop, and SXSW music festival and many more.

I am also an active nature enthusiast who loves camping, swimming, hiking, backpacking and everything in between. I love to cook healthy and stay fit; I was an aerobics instructor in past years. Most of the time a fun night in includes hanging with my cat Tiny, trying new recipes, and binging my favorite Netflix shows.
In addition to holding both Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees as well as a certification in Voice Teacher Training from New York Vocal Coaching, I have over 12 years ex ... perience as a full-time vocalist, songwriter and theatre performer. I've worked professionally as a vocalist on cruise ships, casinos, resorts, and various venues both regionally and internationally. I've performed cover material for weddings, galas, and other special events alongside both large orchestras as well as smaller jazz duos and trios.
