Tashara is a charismatic and dynamic singer-songwriter and entertainer. This charming lady has a smooth and soulful voice and always delivers each performance with sophistication and passion. Her style is influenced by Diana Ross, Martha Reeves, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill and Corinne Bailey-Rae to name a few.
Tashara has also created and performs with 'Sleeke' a sexy and dynamic female vocal harmony group performing a variety o ... f live music entertainment including Motown, Soul Disco, 90s Rnb Tribute’s, pop and original music.
Collectively the group have toured the world performing in musical theatre, cruise ships, alongside famous artists in arena tours and concerts, including The Lion King, Walt Disney, Soul II Soul, James Arthur, Bupsi and Soul II Soul to name a few.

Biography

I am a professional Session Singer, Songwriter, and Entertainer with over 15 years experience of working with bands and choirs as a soloist, lead singer and backing vocalist - Soprano, Mezzo Soprano and Alto range. I toured with Soul II Soul for 5 years worldwide at concerts, festivals and prestigious clubs like Annabels and The Ned working along side music legends Caron Wheeler, Jazzie B and Charlotte Kelly.
I have also worked with X Factor winner James Arthur, and X factor finalist Bupsi Brown. I have performed on the BBC 1 Xtra Live Lounge show, the 2018 Jools Holland Hootenanny and the ... recent Michael McIntyre’s Unexpected Star Show. I have shared the stage with many of the greats such as Chic, Ed Sheeran, Corrine Bailey-Ra and many more.
I currently sing backing vocals for SEL Soul, manage perform with the Sleeke Entertainment Music Collective, providing live music entertainment for for weddings, parties, festivals, corporate functions and all occasions.

Tashara sang one of my favourites songs, 'You're a Star', at my son's dedication in June and we all loved it. It felt as if she had written it just for his special day and she actually sang it to him which really made it so beautiful. He is just 18 months old but he was captivated. Her delivery was seamless and very professional, actually, something happened to her mic as she was singing and she just continued as if nothing happened and did a very subtle signal to the sound guy at the church, who then turned her mic back on. Thank you Tashara, I can't wait for you to release 'You're a Star' so that I can buy an autographed CD for us to enjoy at home. It's a very inspirational song that speaks to my heart, in both happy and troubled times. God bless you
