Description

I sing all the jazz standard favourites from the 1920's to the 1950's as made famous by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Michael Bublé to name a few!
I also have a 1960's set including songs by Dusty Springfield, Dionne Warwick, Aretha Franklin etc.
I use high quality backing tracks.
I have dedicated Valentine's, VE Day, Christmas and Halloween set lists. I also write songs!
For a small extra fee, I can curate a specific set list just for you; if you give me a few details about the birthday boy or girl, for example, I can put together a whole lot of relevant songs!

Biography

As an actress primarily (you may have seen me in Holby City, Doctor Who, Sherlock and The Smoking Room, to name just a few!), I am very experienced in putting a song across and engaging with an audience. I pride myself on Jazz with Pizzazz!

I had seen Debbie Chazen perform at a friend's birthday do, so she was my first choice when I was looking for someone reliable and good to perform at a charity fundraiser I was organising. I thought she would be ambient background music during the canapés, but she was so good that she soon had an audience and even got us dancing. We loved her and have already booked her again for our next event.

I was tasked with planning an evening to say farewell to our boss who was retiring and a friend recommended The Brazen Ms Chazen to me. I found out that our boss loves music from the 1930's and 40's, so that's what we asked for. She was really excellent. Some of us had also re-written the words to Goldfinger (our boss's name is Mr Brewfinger!) as a tribute to him, and The Brazen Ms Chazen sang this to him with an amazing Shirley Bassey impression! Highly recommended.

The Brazen Ms Chazen - Female Singer - Golders Green, London Event Location: London Event Type: Ruby Anniversary 15th June 2019

We booked Debbie to sing for our grandparents' surprise Ruby Anniversary party. Debbie asked us to tell her all about them, and she created an hour's set list specifically for them, with songs that referenced their names, backgrounds, careers, hobbies etc - anything she could find. Even their dog Tramp got a mention! We were so impressed with the amount of research and obvious hard work she had put into it, and our grandparents were absolutely thrilled. She was brilliant, and the highlight of the evening.
