Lewis Clark & The Essentials became a fully-fledged band in September 2015. Based around the core trio of Lewis Clark (guitar & vocals), Rob Grist (drums & piano) and Max Mees (double/electric bass), the group combines their diverse and shared interests in blues, folk and soul to create a dynamic and distinctive live sound. Their musical style draws on their love of rhythm and blues and explores an eclectic range of influences including traditional British folk, American roots music and wider European traditions. There first self titled album "Lewis Clark & The Essentials" due for release Sept ... ember 2016!
Experience
The band have a strong credibility in both the Public and Private spheres of performance, undertaking around 10 paid gigs in bars, pubs and restaurants a month as well as private events for Weddings, Golf Clubs, Eco Parks and Private Birthday/Celebratory events. All three members of the band are session musicians and play to the highest standards, learning cover material where necessary and adding their own slant to well known songs.
