Biography

My name’s Tyler, and I love drumming in all styles and for all types of events! For over a decade, I’ve been recording and performing an extensive medley of music, from energetic Samba, to heavy-hitting Metal, to soothing Jazz at an elegant wedding reception. If the job involves me hittin’ drums, I’m in! On that note, I also love inspiring and educating determined drummers. At the Yamaha Music School in Spanish Fork, Utah, I helped my students expand their skills and ideas as drummers and musicians. Now that I’ve relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, I’m ready to take my mus ... ic career to new heights!
Although I’m excited about this new adventure, I had a great time in Utah recording and playing with some amazing artists. The Brazuca Band, Tribe of I, Full-Blown Horns, Hollow Hill, and Beacon Street Jazz are just a few of the incredible groups I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Utah Valley University isn’t just an amazing place to study music and work toward becoming a truly incredible musician, it’s also a fantastic place to work! Being a Dance Accompanist for Modern Dance classes at U.V.U. was certainly a highlight of my career; getting paid to produce live, improvised music with a keyboard, sample pad, loop pedal and drum-set, every weekday, definitely wasn’t anything to complain about!
