Biography

Emilija is a professional classical musician who started studying the kanklės at the age of nine in Lithuania. Emilija has been playing the kanklės for 13 years and has been awarded the title of the National Laureate of Lithuania twice. The kanklės is the Lithuanian National instrument, which remains relatively unknown to many. However, Emilija is committed to present this unusual instrument to new audiences in order to educate more people about the kanklės and promote the diversity of Lithuanian culture.
