I am chasing a dream and it feels good.
At 52 years old, Sherri Priester stepped on a stage, told a joke to a room of strangers, and it was fabulous. In five years this Trophy Wife has grown to become a rising star on the comedy scene. Her southern charm, honest and irreverent take on military life, marriage, raising daughters and aging connects with audiences across all ages. Sherri delivers a high energy, engaging, and entertaining performance, leaving audiences wanting more. I am chasing a dream and it feels good. At 52 years old, when my husband retired from the US Navy and my children had grown up and moved out I decided to do something just for me. Yes, I have low self esteem and a fear of public rejection so I thought Stand Up Comedy is the thing for me. I stepped on a stage, told a joke to a room of strangers, and it was fabulous. In five years I've been fortunate to perform all over and merge my military spouse history by serving veterans & their families through the Armed Services Arts Partnership. I'm short, sassy and a whole lotta mouthy. I'm living my ... best life making people laugh at me and it feels great. I never wanted to be that person, whom at the end of their life thought I wish I'd done ..... and I won't be. I'm proof you're never too old to chase a dream.
