Description

The Big Bang have a very wide repertoire of songs which ranges from the 60s to current day. They mix genres and styles to suit each event and customise their set to their clients wishes. The band are very flexible and they can play 2 one hour sets, 3 forty five minute sets or 4 thirty five minute sets during an event – which ever the client chooses. The band can provide backing music or the means for clients to play their favourite tracks on iPod or iPad during the band's breaks.

Biography

The Big Bang is fronted by very experienced male and female vocalists who are backed by exceptional musicians on guitar, keyboards, bass and drums. Our musicians have over 20 years of live experience – thousands of shows all over the UK and Europe and they specialise in performing at weddings.
They can also perform with a dynamic brass section (sax, trombone, and trumpet) for an exciting big sound.

Pleased THANK the boys for makng my party such a success. They were absolutely fantastic. Just perfect! I had about 80 or so guests and without exception they have all agreed how great the band was and how much they enjoyed them (ages ranged from 5 to 80) I am going to recommend them to everyone. HI Chloe I wanted to send you an email to say how thrilled we were with The BigBang when they played at our wedding. We had a great party and were really pleased with how they performed and interacted with our guests! They were more than just a band playing, they became a big part of our wedding and ensured the party was a huge success. I especially loved the special touches they did, singing 'Because You're Gorgeous' for example and getting our guests to form a circle around me - that was so special! I couldn't have planned for the evening to have been any better so we wanted to say a BIG thank you. Every one of our friends and family that we have spoken to since the day have highly praised them also, unprompted by us. They have been getting fave reviews by all. Experience

Our musicians have worked with the Sugababes, Neneh Cherry, Duran Duran, Lulu, Ray Davies (of the Kinks), Massive Attack, Craig David, Bad Manners, The Specials, Gary Moore, Alfie Boe and Ben E King – to name a few - as well as in West End shows such as the Lion King and on TV shows such as The Jack Dee Show.

Clients include hotel chains (Hilton, Thistle, Marriott), companies (Lloyds Bank, Reynard Racing, John Lewis, Car Phone Warehouse, Virgin Mobile, Virgin Airways, Sony, Aston Martin - to name a few of the many), rugby clubs (Harlequins, Saracens, London Irish) and charities (Kids Out and Centre Algarve). The band have performed at hundreds of weddings all over the UK and Europe and consider themselves as wedding specialists - there are many very happy clients.

Additional Information

If clients prefer a lighter sound, the band can play acoustically (as the Little Big Bang) as a 3, 4 or 5 piece. This is ideally suited for smaller venues and clients who enjoy a more intimate show.
The band need about 4 x 6 metres of space in which to set up their sound system and lights and can be set up to play in less than an hour. They have full public liability insurance and all their equipment is PAT tested.
