Description

My name is Jonny Garstang, I’m an English singer and guitarist based in Rhodes, Greece.
I have a large, eclectic repertoire that caters for all tastes and I have played well over 500 shows over the past 4 years.
I recently did a 3 month contract as a resident artiste aboard MSC’s Explora 1 luxury cruise ship in the Caribbean and Mediterranean. I was regularly asked to perform on the main stage and was the “go to” musician to collaborate on impromptu performances with guest artists due to my ability to improvise and my experience as a performer.

We had our wedding in Santorini and the Party Animals absolutely blew ours and our guests socks off! They were already at the venue when I arrived and John was ready to greet me and discuss the setlist as I was quite particular about the songs I wanted the guys to play and the order of them. We had discussed this over email but I was made to feel very at ease when discussing this in person. He even leant my brother in law his guitar to play the song when my wife was walking down the aisle which was hugely appreciated. It started with an acoustic set during our cocktail hour, which turned into a bit of a party with John taking requests from the groomsmen. Then after dinner the full band kicked in with an amazing setlist of songs, getting the party started. All of our guests couldn’t stop talking about the Party Animals for days after the wedding and we keep reminiscing about different elements of the set, particularly some of the groomsmen getting us on their shoulders for the opening ...
