Help & Advice / Entertainers Account / Create/Edit Your Profile / Act/Show Description

Entering your Stage Name
Enter your name to be displayed on your profile, your stage name should be used if you have one.

Adding a 'Short' Description of your Act/Show
Your short description will be shown when a booker or agent 'hovers' over your profile with the mouse pointer, therefore the content may determine whether they click on your profile or not.
Note: If you do not have an Act or Show, write a brief description about your skill/what you perform.

EW Advice: Summarise your strengths which may include your experience, style, personality or humour. Enticing the booker to click on your profile and read more is the goal.

Adding a 'Full' Description of your Act/Show
The full description of your Act/Show will be displayed in a section named ‘Show Description' when viewing your profile. We recommend you include in detail what you would like a booker to know about your act or show. (This is an optional field and will not display in your profile if left blank).
Note: If you do not have your own Act/Show then you may leave this box blank and use the ‘Biography' box instead to add information about you and your skill.

EW Advice: Here are a few ideas of what you may also want to include:

- Show/Set length.
- Type of events you are suitable for.
- What you provide e.g. PA system, microphone etc.
- Set List (for musicians & singers)
- Any requirements you may need.

Adding your Biography
Adding a biography about yourself is an opportunity to inform the booker of your background, personality and information about your skill. (This is an optional field and will not display in your profile if left blank).

EW Advice: Include relevant information and experience that you have gained in the industry only.

Adding details of your Experience
Bookers often like to see what experience you currently hold when making a decision on whether to book/hire you. (This is an optional field and will not display in your profile if left blank).

EW Advice: List your experience clearly in bullet points showing the dates of where you trained/gained experience.

Adding details of your Previous Clients
Adding previous clients to your profile will make bookers aware of who has booked you in the past. Well-known names may portray a higher calibre than a list of ‘private' previous clients. (This is an optional field and will not display in your profile if left blank).

EW Advice: Although not essential, if you feel you would like ‘well-known' previous clients as part of your publicity but do not currently have such bookings, performing your services free of charge at big corporation charity events is one way to achieve this.

Adding Testimonials
Adding all of your positive comments from previous clients provides feedback to the booker of your professionalism and quality.

EW Advice: Although not essential, quotes from well-known companies and celebrities may raise your profile calibre.
