Biography

Amelia Leon- Singer
Amelia Leon was born in Birmingham and from a very early age she had already began a passion for music and performing. Classical trained vocally from the age of 7 she also disciplined in all forms of dance and drama.
At the age of 12 she was awarded a singing scholarship at the prestigious Arts Educational School Tring Park alongside some notable alumni like singer Ella Henderson, Cinderella actress Lily James and Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley.
During her time at Arts Educational School she was part of the college’s flagship Chamber Choir and performed in Notre Dame ... cathedral, St Pauls cathedral and for Prince Charles.
At the age of 18 she moved to London to train at London Studio Centre where she received her BA Hons in Musical Theatre.
Since graduating Amelia has travelled all over the world singing professionally. She began as lead vocalist on Costa Cruises and then moved to Macao, China as a classical singer in the Venetian Hotel. Amelia then joined classical crossover group the Celtic Ladies. The Celtic Ladies had a No.1 UK tour with Jonathan Ansell, and they also toured in Israel, Russia, Monte Carlo, Holland and the UK alongside Spirit of the Dance.
Amelia continues to work all over the UK singing with her partner Benjamin for all types of events. Amelia’s style of singing is very diverse and her repertoire varies from classical to jazz, pop to country to even soft rock. Amelia is also currently writing her own material.
Benjamin Bland- Pianist
Benjamin was born in West Yorkshire and had a passion for performing arts and music from an early age starting classical Piano at the age of six, eventually acquiring Grade 8 in both Piano and Music theory, from The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
Benjamin also started to explore other musical genres and instruments, and performed in various jazz bands, as the lead drummer and also performed and played tuned percussion and drums for notable brass bands like Elland Silver and Brighouse & Rastrick.
At 18 Benjamin, moved to London to further his studies in the performing arts and acquired a place at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA- for short) receiving a diploma and BA Hons.
In recent years Benjamin has been studying a masters in composition from Trinity School of Music, as well as scoring music for short films, video games and theatre projects.
Amelia and Benjamin continue to work all over the UK singing and playing at all types of events. Amelia’s style of singing is very diverse and her repertoire varies from classical to jazz, pop to country to even soft rock. The most rewarding part about performing is helping to create that perfect day for either a wedding or a special event.
