4 day break ...of it as well, staff all really lovely and the entertainment was first class on sat and Sunday, they had a female entertainer called Amanda Jayne, Reviewed 22 March 2018 Reviewed 5 March 2018 Very good all round Very impressed with this hotel. It is clean and presentable, but its best assets are its staff. Without fail every one of them from housemaid upwards were invariably helpful, polite and smartly presented, with a smile on their face. The star of the provided entertainment, as many have said, is undoubtedly Amanda Jayne, a complete one-off. In her deadpan comic routine and observations I see shades of Joyce Grenfell and even Les Dawson. She is good, really good.
