Description

There are many choices in performing! I can play the piano/keyboards and sing, alone (one woman band), or with other musicians, in smaller or bigger bands (e.x. with one more musician at violin, flute, guitar, sax etc or with full band).
My repertoire is really wide in many ways and it can be adjusted further more, depending on the project.
So it can consist of atmospheric, lounge, acoustic songs at the recepction of a hotel, or it can be more lively, pop-ethnic style songs for a dinner-music, or even more lively dance music for a party occasion.
I sing in many languages (greek, english, fr ... ench, italian, spanish, arabic, jewish) so my repertoire can include original songs from many countries and from different musical genres. Or it can include for example only english or only french songs if prefered for the occasion. I play and sing contemporary songs and also songs from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. My repertoire includes really thousands of songs and instrumental pieces of music to choose from. I can also use a keyboard additionally to the piano, or instead of the piano, with backing tracks etc.
I have much experience as I have been performing since many years in various venues (from 5star hotels and gigs to big concert halls) and having released three personal cds.
I speak fluently English, French and Greek and I can communicate very well with the guests.
I love music and socializing with people, so I always do my best to make guests have a wonderful time! I love entertaining people and putting smiles around!
My performance, depending on the budget, can also be combined with a dancing show by professional dancers.
I love music and since I also love travelling and gathering useful experiences, this makes a perfect combination to visit many places all over the world and enrich my musical background. I have full equipment to bring with me, if needed (microphone, two high quality 12' electrovoice speakers, channel mixer, stands, cables and a wonderful Korg PA4X (88 keys) and a Yamaha Tyros 5 (76 keys).

Biography

Antigoni Katsouri has an origin from Cyprus and she was born and grown up in Greece, while she also lived in USA (Washington D.C) and Germany (Tubingen).
Since a young age she expressed her love for the piano and for singing, starting composing and singing her first songs since she was eight years old, and she was presented as a “Miracle-child” at the age of ten (10) years old in the national T.V. and radio programs in Greece. 
She has been granted the Diploma of Piano with the Excellent grade, as well as the “Diploma of Licentiateship in Pianoforte” from the Thames Valley Univers ... ity, London College of Music [title L.L.C.M.]. 
She also plays other instruments (accordion, bouzouki) and she has attended lessons and seminars in music technology and musical psychotherapy.
Her musical activity includes concerts and gigs in big scenes in Greece and abroad, in a wide repertoire, greek and international, alone or in cooperation with various famous artists, with orchestras and with several choirs (children or adults).
Also, she is involved with discography, having released several personal cds and cooperating with other artists in various projects.
She has been performing at many 5star hotels all over Greece, and abroad, during the winter and summer season, and also she has been performing in events, in wedding ceremonies and parties of all kinds.
She has been also teaching the piano in schools and privately.
Apart from music, she has studied Law at the University of Athens, while she has been developing her other interests, such as painting and icon making, for which she won the first prize in the 37th European Contest of Painting. 
DISCOGRAPHY

Her debut CD, titled "URANIO TOKSO" (=RAINBOW), was released in summer 2009 (by Protasis), receiving media's best feedback. 
This was followed by the production of the cd "ENA HAMOGELO GIA TO AVRIO" (= A smile for tomorrow) (6/2012) which was released by Ammos together with the videoclip of the song "Apokalypse" which is included in this album.
At Christmas 2014 she released the album "RENDEZ-VOUS", together with Lakis Papadopoulos, with whom they sing twelve French songs of the 60's, written by major composers such as Charles Aznavour, Serge Gainsbourg, Gilbert Becaud, Christophe, Burt Bacharach, Francoise Hardy etc and also of Manos Hatzidakis, with lyrics in french by Marcel Eugene Ageron, released by Final Touch & Cobalt (ex Universal).
Meanwhile she participated in other artists’ cds, such as in Dimitris Mentzelos (Imiskoubria) cd named "O raper tis hronias" (= the raper of the year), with the song "A RE PATERA" (=Oh Father), (released by Legend), with the relevant videoclip (June 2011), and in Panagiotis Kelandrias cd, “Aggelostalsimo”, named after the song “AGGELOSTALSIMO” (=sent by Angels) interpreted by Antigoni.
In 2016-2017 Antigoni Katsouri released the new digital singles “ATHORYVES ANAPNOES” (=silent breaths) and “KATARES DEN MAS PIANUN”, (=Noone can put a spell on us) along with a videoclip, as well as the duet with Lakis Papadopoulos called “Zilevoune tus tolmirus” (=People are jealous of the brave ones) (by Final Touch & Cobalt – ex Universal).
Her production is “Adeia Siopi”, a song against bullying (anti -bullying song), which was released digitally in 2017 and also was released as a physical cd-single in September 2017, being distributed to the schools by the Prefecture of Epirus, which is the official sponsor for this cd.
She then recorded the album "Irini" (=Peace) and various singles, and presently she 's working with more songs of many genres that are about to be published soon.

Antigoni Katsouri’s debut CD , titled “URANIO TOKSO” (=Rainbow) which was released in summer 2009 by Protasis, combine different musical styles, such as ethnic, pop, jazz and lounge and they all share a common feeling of serenity and a relaxing fresh mood.
The production of this cd is high-level in many aspects (songs, cover, booklet with many colourful pages full of images and graphics) and 20 musicians perform in this project in a great variety of instruments such as piano, synth, saxophone, trumpet, trombon, clarinet, kaval, accordeon, lyra, guitars (acoustic, electric) oud, lute, kanun, mandolin, violin, cello, electric bass, contrabass, cajon, drums and percussion

Antigoni Katsouri 's album titled “ENA HAMOGELO GIA TO AVRIO” (=A SMILE FOR TOMORROW) was released for the first time in summer 2012 and will be released soon again, from Final Touch & Cobalt – ex Universal. 
It contains 14 songs, which combine elements from various musical styles (alternative, jazz, world) are soulfully interpreted by Antigoni’s unique and flexible voice and primped by a big variety of instruments (piano, synth, cello, violin, viola, accordion, bandoneón, vibraphone, trombone, trumpet, mandolin, classical guitar, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, drums, bass and percussion) performed again by 20 top musicians who follow the fine arrangements.

Antigoni Katsouri 's third work was recorded in cooperation with Lakis Papadopoulos, with whom they sing twelve wonderful french songs of the 60's, worked out with much love in a special cd titled "Rendez-vous", released by Final Touch & Cobalt (ex Universal).

Ballads, swings, rock n' roll, melody, rhythm and subversion, at an exceptional choice of songs of all time, which get “alive” through the interpretation of the two artists.
A real "rendez-vous", a meeting of melodies and feelings, harmony and contradiction and songs for various timbres and moods, written by major composers such as Charles Aznavour, Serge Gainsbourg, Gilbert Becaud, Christophe, Burt Bacharach, Francoise Hardy etc and also of Manos Hatzidakis, with lyrics in French by Marcel Eugene Ageron.
