Biography

Benji and the Rox is Roxanne (vocals & percussion) & JB (vocals & guitar) from
South Africa. Both members of the duo sing combined with the tasteful use of a live
harmonizer and guitar looping, to give them a full and enriched sound. They play
music from the 1940s right through to popular top 40 hits and have an extensive
repertoire list that compromises of 200+ songs. Genres span from country, reggae,
folk, pop, jazz and many more. The singer have previous experience working at sea
onboard Dream Cruises, P&O Australia and Carnival Cruiseline, and both have
experience playing on ... land.
Roxanne Marais Education:
Performing Arts at the University of Stellenbosch, including singing and acting.
JB Steenkamp Education:
Bachelor of Music with honours in music performance at the University of
Chichester.
