Perhaps not a well-known name himself, but, most certainly, a Very Important Person behind many well-known names!
After spending his formative years with a fairly successful EMI recording group in the late 60’s/early 70’s, practically living in the famous ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS, Billy became a driving force for such world-wide stars as The Tremeloes; Rubettes; The Equals, Alvin Stardust etc and today still works alongside the likes of The Rubettes; The Animals; Mungo Jerry; Herman’s Hermits; The Tremeloes; The Equals; Stepaside; John Coghlan’s QUO …
Apa ... rt from his well-proven managerial capabilities, Billy has an immense musical talent and wrote, arranged and/or produced hits for many of his Artists, including The Rubettes, Stepaside and The Fureys.
In the 80’s, Billy was the male half of the highly popular singing duo, “Diamanté”, a very well-respected cabaret act.
Billy’s involvement with multi-million selling Artists led to him being asked to advise on stage-settings and films and he has worked on theme and background music for a major TV series and a full-length feature film.
His knowledge of his business is phenomenal and there’s probably not one country in the world where Billy doesn’t have ‘Friends in High Places’ !
Life is always hectic for Billy, who now lives in France and he is constantly travelling to and from either concert or TV dates and recording studios all over Europe.
Returning recently to the stage himself, he is always in demand for his repertoire of 1960/70’s hits that he presents in his own special way. His vast experience shows in his stage presentation at galas, private functions, restaurants, clubs, holiday resorts ...
Fluent in French, as well as English, of course, his ability to present world hits in both languages never ceases to amaze, appeal and please!
Performs with pre-recorded backing tracks. An enormous selection in both English and French.
Always accompanied by his equally experienced partner, Naddy, Billy still runs a successful Artiste Agency and, together, they are also currently writing a stage musical!
Music can be fast and slow but Billy finds it difficult to ‘slow up’ – perhaps that’s his secret : His passion for his work, in all fields, enables him to produce the Very best time and time again !!!
