Founded in Dublin, Ireland, 15 years ago, the Buena Vista Tribute Band has become a vibrant force in the music scene, celebrating the rich legacy of Cuban music. With a passion for the rhythms and melodies of the Buena Vista Social Club, this ensemble pays homage to the golden era of Cuban music while infusing their performances with contemporary flair.
At the heart of the band is Evelio “The Golden Voice” Galan, a two-time Grammy winner renowned for his work with the Buena Vista Social Club and the AfroCuban All Stars. Galan is celebra ... ted as one of the last “Soneros” of Cuba and Latin America, a title that reflects not only his remarkable vocal talent but also his deep connection to the cultural roots of son music.
