Stuart brought a real element of fun to our event, and was equally patient and enthusiastic about showing skills to children and adults. His colourful outfit and props made for a visually appealing addition to the day and we will definitely be asking him to return!

Acting Experience

Our director teaches clowning as part of our services, and from time to time he becomes "Custard the Clown" for cabaret shows etc. He also performs his "sawing person into two" visual comedy act from time to time!

Meet the Act

The director has been involved in circus hobbies since the age of 11 and one of our artists grew up in a circus family. The director started Circus Skills York CIC in 2017 with a view to bring lots of circus fun to the York and surrounding communities.

Additional Information

We are insured for teaching and performance (including fire) and all our school workers have enhanced DBS certificates.

We can provide circus fun at parties (children's, family, hen & stagg) with a circus drop-in zone where people can have a go.
We can also supply artists for performance work, whether it be a private party or public event.
