Courus' band plays various styles of music with versatility stretching from African sounds to latest uptempo tunes.
Courus writes and performs her original songs and also loves performing Jazz Standards, Neo soul, Soul, RnB, Pop, House and Amapiano
They cover a wide variety of repertoire that ranges from 80's Soul & RnB era covering artists like Aretha Franklin, Anita Baker & Whitney Houston to doing Too 40 charts and covering artists like Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Beyonce, Rihanna among many others.
Courus is proudly South African and they love doing popular South African tunes from B ... renda Fassie's Weekend Special to Lady Zamar's Collide and Liquideep's Top of the World.
Courus has performed alongside artists like Zahara, Vusi Nova, PJ Powers, Early B, Phinda Mtya.
She also sung backing vocals for Lira, Judith Sepuma and Liesl Graham at the "Diva's in Spring" concert at Victoria Park PE.
In 2021 she won the Huawei 947 Joburg day competition and got a chance to perform alongside Jesse Clegg, DJ Zinhle, Micasa & Black Motion.
Then the year 2021 ended with her opening a Jazz Extravaganza Concert for Judith Sephuma at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Eastern Cape.
In 2022 she was booked as the headliner act for the PicknPay Wine and Food Festival and has headlined this festival again in 23' and 24'.

Biography

Courus moved from a small town called Uitenhage to the big city Johannesburg in June 2018 with dreams of taking her craft and artistry to the next level.
Courus knew from a young age that she had a passion and love for performance. She went on to study music at Nelson Mandela University where she graduated with a Diploma in Music Education (DipMusEd) and recently completed The Music Business short learning program through a fund made possible by SAMRO.
Courus is a high-energy performer and music innovator known for blending Jazz, RnB and Neo Soul with infectious beats and a captivating s ... tage presence. With a distinctive sound that has attracted a global audience and accumulated over 110K streams, Courus is rapidly emerging as a standout talent in the RNB/ Soul music scene. Her dynamic performances, powerful vocals and engaging audience interactions make every show an unforgettable experience.
Courus has headlined major venues and shared the stage with top artists such as Micasa, Vusi Nova, Zahara, Lira & Judith Sephuma. Her music has been featured on Rhodes Music Radio, Algoa FM, Viva Nation Radio, Power987, multiple Spotify and Apple Music Playlists as well as on National Television on a prominent news program called Morning Live and continues to gain traction across digital platforms.
Courus has a unique ability to write real life stories based on experiences and translates this into her performances where audiences engage, relate and feel everything that these stories are about. The mission is to get this message out to a global audience.

Courus is A M A Z I N G!!! They performed at my big wedding day and they could not have made my day any more perfect.... The singing and the background playing was everything 💕 I did not give much instruction and yet they exceeded my expectations and our guests at the venue were very impressed. Some even thought that it was a CD that was playing until they realized it was the band that played the WHOLE day... I can't stop fussing about this band and they can play anything you wish them to... Thank you Courus for making my day special 🌼🌸🧡 I'd use you over and over again!! 💛
