I caught the bug for doing hypnosis when I saw a stage hypnotist perform at the Maryland Renn Fest about 25 years ago. I was fascinated by the entertainment aspect, as well as the potential for helping people achieve their goals through hypnotherapy. I did some self-study for a while, then received an advanced certification from the New England Institute of Hypnotherapy in 2003. I have been doing clinical work, seminars, demonstrations, and private parties, ever since, logging thousands of hours devoted to putting smiles on peoples' faces. In 2011 I survived a major stroke to my right brai ... n, leaving me with residual left side deficits. My early mental and physical recovery was accelerated by my use of self-hypnosis.
