Biography
Aidan Townend has been playing the piano for over thirty years. He has written music for the BBC and Sky TV and has worked with Beverley Knight, Sarah Harding and Katie White from The Ting Tings amongst others. Earlier in his career he toured the UK and Japan with rock band Jordan and was also MD to the late controversial comic Bernard Manning! He has played regulary with his own band The A T Band for the last sixteen years.
Charlotte Day has been a professional singer for twenty years. Her voice can be heard on numerous top 40 records from the likes of Danni Minogue, Loleatta Holloway, and
... Faith Hill to name a few! In 2005 charlotte performed lead vocals on the number 1 UK club chart hit ‘Finally’ produced by multi-platinum remixers Love to Infinity. With chart topping dance group Soda Club, she has had international success as a singer, songwriter and producer and has toured extensively throughout the UK. Charlotte is also an accomplished singing coach.
Together they are Day & Townend - the perfect combination for any high brow event, specialising in private and corporate functions from weddings and parties to bespoke bars and restaurants, and even funeral services. Their extensive repertoire consists of anything from live lounge to jazz and alternative to contemporary pop music.
