Biography
Michael Hurd (a.k.a. DJ Fractal Theory) is an open format DJ/Producer.
Hailing from Homer, a small Alaskan town at the edge of the world, DJ Fractal Theory has worked hard to make a name for himself across The Last Frontier and beyond. This hard work as led to him becoming a highly sought after act all across the state and has even won the gold in the coveted "Best of AK" Award in 2018 and "Best Mobile DJ" in 2020.
He is known for his high energy mixes, slick transitions, and diverse music selection ranging from Hip-Hop and Top 40 to deep and heavy Bass music and even Rock 'n' Roll.

... ost notable appearance is the Salmonfest music festival in Ninilchik, Alaska where he has been the official closing act since 2014.
He has worked with numerous DJs, Producers and Lyricists including international acts such as Apashe and Dodge & Fuski as well as many successful Alaskan acts such as rapper, Alaska Redd and famed Alaskan country band, Troubadour North.
In between DJing gigs, he spends his time producing his own edits and original Bass music.
