Experience

Trained with My Aerial Home:
3 Month EAC Professional course (September-December 2023) – I took classes in hoop, silks, straps, rope trapeze and Chinese pole, as well as supporting ground-based classes such as handstands, contortion, tumbling and conditioning. I completed several character and movement workshops before moving on to creating my own act as part of the graduation show.
1 Month EAC Foundation CPD certified (June 2023) – I took classes in hoop, silks, straps, rope and trapeze as well as supporting ground-based classes before creating a routine with character for a showcase ... on the final day.
Dancers Intensive CPD certified (October 2022) – I took classes in hoop, silks and Spanish web and completed a day of filming for which I chose Spanish web as my apparatus.
I have also trained various disciplines with Spin City Newbury, Aim to Fly UK and Flying Fantastic.
Alongside my aerial training I have attended yoga and pilates classes, giving me the opportunity to deepen my understanding and awareness of my body which helps me to control my movements.

Recent Performances:
MAH Graduation Show – For this professionally produced show I performed a silks act of my creation based on the UK’s first heart transplant in Marylebone. Given the theme of the London underground, I wanted to create something unexpected and humorous, so I focused on the freeing feeling of a new chance at life, including a saxophone solo using a prop heart I pulled from a pocket in my costume! I was also a part of multiple links between acts where I danced and acted.
Magic, Halloween Hoop Piece – I performed a short hoop routine as a witch discovering magic, at ... a scratch night showcase. I used the music along with my movements to show what could be possible when a little ‘magic’ is involved, showing the confidence in finding new abilities.
