Bloomfield Duo, Elswick Care Home 27/2/17 This was a joyous concert with lots of interaction and great choice of repertoire including Rock n Roll to the present day that worked very well for the audience. You had taken the trouble to check who you would be performing to in advance and chosen a very appropriate set. You kept the concert moving along swiftly and there was time for banter with some of the audience who were obviously engaged in the performance. Including several medleys allowed you to include a lot of songs, so kept lots of moments of recognition coming. Using PA may not be appropriate in all settings but it worked well in this room, and perhaps, along with your dressed up appearance, helped give the sense of occasion. You learned everyone’s names which was impressive! Feedback from the audience and staff was very positive. Thank you for an entertaining afternoon.
