With bases in South Wales, London and the South East, I am a performer passionate about using my art to inspire, entertain, and inform.
As an actor, I am trained in theatre, film and as a walkabout artist, able to improvise in character and host and entertain in a variety of contexts.
I am classically trained as a singer, and from this can perform opera, carols, musical theatre, (including belt) and have the capacity to sing in more modern 'pop' styles as well. I can learn specific repertoire quickly and enjoy acting through song, and reaching audiences through lyrics!
I play the French h ... orn, trumpet, tenor horn and cornet, as well as the alto and soprano recorder, and am able to perform as a soloist or in an ensemble. I can read sheet music and improvise or compose on a specific theme,
I have stilt-walked in many events, on difficult terrains, and in character or as myself. I have a trousers or a skirt costume and can play the trumpet, cornet or recorder on stilts!
I use hula hoops and poi as solo performance or walkabout acts, and can also teach others skills and tricks!

Biography

I was born in Kenya, before growing up in South Wales where I began training in acting, singing, music, and dance.
Following grade 8s and straight As, I worked with Oddments Theatre Company - touring theatre to Prisons, Schools and churches.
I then trained for 4 years at East 15 Acting School, in Acting and Community Theatre, where I learned circus skills, such as stilt-walking, hula hoops, poi and fire fans. I devised and performed in numerous shows, both as a solo act and an ensemble performer. These included sight specific and immersive theatre (Notorious Malignants, November 2021). and ... Pandamonium (July 2021), a street theatre festival where I was a part of Circus Shows, Walkabout Acts, Commedia troops and traditional street theatre.
Following, and during my training, I worked several stilt walking gigs at Community Events, ELROW Halloween events, and festivals such as Standon Calling and the Soho Park festival.
I performed in Pippin, using puppetry, stilts and live music before touring with Pickles Theatre Company in France and Belgium.
I trained in Commedia D'ellArte with Antonio Fava in Italy, and am now eager to develop my skills in new and exciting ways! Read More
