Meet the Act

I discovered aerial silks as a kid, after having competed as a rhythmic gymnast for a couple years and doing ballet for most of my life thus far. When I was little, I was always climbing trees, swinging from monkey bars, and trying to be as high up in the air as I could. These passions, along with the fact that rhythmic gymnastics and aerial silks tied together so well, led my passion to start growing immediately the first time I engaged in this art form. I love aerial silks because when I use my movement to express myself through music, I feel free. When I feel my body suspended high in the a ... ir, falling this way and that, I'm filled with light and the limitlessness of life. I love performing on aerial silks because this art form is my way of sharing this light and feeling of limitlessness with every other being watching.
A couple entertaining facts about me:
- I'm training to be a yoga teacher
- I enjoy a vegan lifestyle, biking, hiking, reading, and cat sitting
- My favorite author is Eckhart Tolle, and a couple of my favorite song artists are Taylor Swift, OneRepublic, and The Piano Guys :) Read More
