The SPOUSES’ TEA AND LOVE STORIES was hosted by the Protocol Committee. Those who attended were treated to an afternoon of tea, wine and song! Actor, singer and TAI member, Ivan Thompson, serenaded the ladies with several musical selections, including some requests! . TAI member Ivan Thompson, performed an original song that he wrote for the DOTA, titled Proud Black Bird. Afterwards, he presented TAI with the exclusive rights and musical score to the song!

With great energy and a performance full of fire, Ivan Thompson is excellent as Coalhouse. He beautifully projects a sense of grace, an abundance of love for the people in his life, and the need for retribution when he encounters injustice. His voice soars on his two big numbers, "On the Wheels of a Dream" and "Make Them Hear You."
