I got started singing at Baptist churches in New Orleans. Although, in high-school I got a bit shy with my singing talents and picked up painting. I love making black folk art. In college, I went to Loyola University of New Orleans, which was heavy in music studies. A friend of mine recommended I take a music class and I fell back in love with singing publicly. I love how it makes other people feel good. I love how I can express my emotions.
