We hired the band for my 50th birthday party. I corresponded with the band before the performance which really put my mind at rest and helped select an 80’s themed playlist. The band arrived in plenty of time to set up and sound check - we had hired a marquee with stage and the band ran a ‘live feed’ into the adjacent club house where the bar was which made sure that everyone could hear the live music, and a before and after set of recorded music. The performance was absolutely first rate – every one of my guests said that the quality of the performance was absolutely first class, including stage presence, professionalism and the quality of the music. The PA was perfect, producing a great sound which enabled everyone to dance without ever being overpowered. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience on the night and would recommend Dan and the rest of Popwork to anyone (private individual or corporate) looking for a live band to perform at a wedding, party, charity night or ... similar function.
