During this one-man (and his many instruments) musical comedy show, all you can do is expect the unexpected. One minute you'll be singing along to your favourite songs from Grease, Queen, ACDC and more, the next trying to keep up with Matthew's lightning-speed fingers as he plays versions of popular movie themes and classic songs! Along the way there will be comedy songs, spectacular arrangements and plenty of surprises...

Experience

Matthew has opened for John Otway (Really Free) and Pete Lincoln (10cc). In 2025 is he was nominated for the ‘Best UK Ukulele Player’ award at the ‘Ukies’.
He has headlined the Pembrokeshire Ukulele Weekend in 2025, performed his own ticketed show at South Hill Park, Bracknell in 2024, and appeared in many other prominent venues such as the Concorde Club in Eastleigh, Princes Hall in Aldershot, Guilfest, Weyfest, Swindon Oktoberfest and the Shanklin Hotel, Isle of Wight.
Matthew's musical compositions appear in multiple publications including works for leading exam boards ABR ... SM and LCM, as well as several self-published books. Read More

Previous Clients

In May 2024 I had my first solo show at a venue, South Hill Park in Bracknell. I have also hosted my own shows across the UK from Shanklin to Huddersfield. My music performance degree was completed at the University of Chichester Conservatoire with additional content from Conservatoire of Vivaldi in Alexandria, Italy.

Meet the Act

Making people smile and laugh is the most rewarding part of performing. Sharing my passion for the sillier, birghter side of life drives me to keep putting on shows.
I always say that nobody chooses to play the ukulele, but instead the ukulele chooses them. From a chance encounter with one at school, I quickly fell down the rabbit hole of the music and entertainment industry and now I use it as my weapon of choice for my unique act.
