My adaptable vocal, piano skill and high quality backing tracks, along with my passion for variety, affords me ease to deliver an eclectic & expanding repertoire of genres of music, from 60’s music to current. I can tailor my performance to suit any event, from an intimate black tie wedding to a large corporate function.

I am a well-established renowned performer of the highest calibre, with the experience of singing and playing the piano: at functions, venues & corporate events as a soloist, or as a member of Cover Bands, in my local region spanning 25 years.
I am a bubbly, friendly & well presented, highly motivated individual, with a propensity to enliven and uplift the atmosphere of any room with my magnanimous presence & talent.
My expertise is in maximizing the combination of my harmonious vocal, piano skill and ability to adapt to suit the listening pleasure of any audience, whether in a quiet pi ... ano bar setting or party atmosphere, using my streamlined quality backings for a full band sound.
My passion for variety, affords me ease, acoustically or with backings, to an eclectic & expansive repertoire of genres of music, ranging from 60’s music through to current contemporary music.
I have featured in many locally produced productions as a vocalist & musician. Including my own highly successful, one-woman sell-out production: ’BLONDES’, which highlighted the lives & music of famous Blonde artists.
Music flows freely to and through me; I predominantly play/sing by ear and have been able to do so since I was 4 years old. Consequently I am an established songwriter, having written & performed my own original songs since I was 11. I have performed much of my own music live at my solo shows. I also co-wrote & produced my own Cabaret Show ‘A NIGHT TO REMEMBER’ which featured me performing my own songs, whilst sharing the stories that inspired them.

I am very social & outgoing love to meet & connect with new people & places. In addition I have a penchant for inspiring, motivating & encouraging others.

Meet the Act

Michelle Robertson was born into music.
Her parents are musical, and her grandparents on both sides, were all musical. In fact Michelle learnt to sing before she could talk! It was therefore impossible for her to escape piano lessons up until her adolescence; a fact that she has no regrets about, as she is now an accomplished pianist and singer-songwriter.
Michelle began her performing career at the age of 9 accompanying her mother on the piano. By the age of 13 she was performing as a keyboard player and back-up vocalist in a rock band.
Although having learnt to read music, Michell ... e has always had a natural gift for playing by ear and by the age of 11 used this skill to express herself through her song writing.
At the age of 16, Michelle moved with her family from her place of birth in Wollongong to Batlow where she continued song writing and teaching piano. Michelle’s passion for music and a belief in her own musical abilities compelled her to eventually sell her acoustic piano and invest in a PA and keyboard to pursue a dream of performing her own work.
Soon after, Michelle’s two younger sisters Linda and Karen joined her to form a trio called The Boardman Sisters. Her sisters’ rich harmonies provided a wonderful support for Michelle’s lead vocals. Michelle has written a number of songs, which are available on her debut CD with her sisters, simply titled “THE BOARDMAN SISTERS”
After several very successful years performing with The Boardman Sisters, Michelle’s passion for singing and music brought her to Wagga Wagga, where there was greater opportunity to pursue her solo career.
Michelle is now a renowned performer of the highest calibre, which is evident through her amazing piano skills, harmonious vocals and uplifting songs she has penned.
One song beautifully written by Michelle is The Brave, the Bold and the Free. Written after the September 11 tragedy, this song was highly praised across the nation and chosen to be sent to General Peter Cosgrove and the troops in Afghanistan.
Whether it is in an intimate piano bar setting, soothing the souls of the crowd with her laidback tunes, or at one of her regular Club gigs around Wagga.
