Biography

MOSS is a five (5) piece original Rock, Pop & Blues Band with a sound reminiscent of the 1970’s. MOSS writes social / political songs aimed to get messages important to them out there to promote thought and discussion but they also love to see you groove..
MOSS members grew up in an era where songs were very much media commentary. The stage was the podium, the lyrics the speeches. Songs with a social message continue to resonate with MOSS. MOSS’s performance focus is to our original works however we have a deep reserve of complimentary covers to apply as our performances require. Artist ... s that MOSS weave into their show from time to time include but are not restricted to: The Bee Gees, INXS, Warumpi Band, The Masters Apprentices, Matt Taylor, Hunters & Collectors, Goanna, Russell Morris, Icehouse, Skyhooks, The Screaming Jets, The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR), Joe Cocker, Canned Heat, Fleetwood Mac, The Dandy Warhols, Deep Purple, Foo Fighters to mention a few.
