Biography

When I was young, I always loved to create fun dance routines and mini shows to perform for my family. It has always been a passion of mine to express through movement. Throughout my years, I tried so many types of performance. I was on cheer teams, dance teams, gymnastics teams, etc. It wasn't until I was 20 that I discovered the performance art that was the perfect fit for me. I saw it and just knew that this would be the one.
My passion for aerial arts quickly consumed me in all aspects. It was the first art that I just understood naturally. It all clicked for me. I learned the art and p ... erformed at a small studio until I became I teacher and started to share my passion with others and I quickly discovered a higher purpose. One thing lead to another and I was suddenly producing shows for my students to showcase their skills! The shows grew bigger until they were full scale productions. I was then choreographing such intricate, characterized pieces that these students were doing a beautiful job of showcasing not only their own skills but bringing my creative visions to life as well.
Alongside creating shows, I've performed for various artwalks, music festivals, dance clubs,
corporate events, other studio shows, parties and more!
I realized I had more potential than I ever thought possible in this art. Now, being a retired teacher, I am focusing on expressing everything in me that desires to be expressed. I am not the type of aerialist that sticks to one routine. I love creating new routines to express different parts of me through song, movement and dance.
It is through this art that I get to share little pieces of my soul.

Acting Experience

Acting experience is limited to the characters I've played in aerial shows. I add a lot of character when it is needed for specialty acts in themed shows. I've produced countless shows where I've had the honor of creating acts for my students infused with character such as, Peter Pan, Narnia, Alice in Wonderland, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, Nightmare Before Christmas and more!

Meet the Act

When I perform, I create an artistic experience out of personal, raw emotion. I love creating pieces that are directly correlated to personal experience but I also love creating character pieces where I can take you into a different world with me. My favorite characters that I've had such an honor in creating include the Cheshire Cat, Tiger Lily, Haunted Doll, Ice Queen from Narnia, The Twins from Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, Jack Skellington and much much more!
Creating an entire act requires not only attention to choreography and movement that expresses the necessary emot ... ion, but also in choosing the perfect song, adding in voice overs, creating the atmosphere that coincides with the character or emotion portrayed, creating projections or designing a set, choosing the perfect costume and then, of course, creating a stage presence for said expression.
Each act that I create, whether for myself or another, is completely unique to that which I intend to portray.
I have produced many shows in my time as an instructor and production artist. From the inception to fruition, it is always a unique and highly detailed process. The moment it comes to life is the moment those months and months of preparation all come together for its time to shine.
I always pour my heart and soul into each and every project that I undertake and it has been such an honor to have been a part of so many different projects and I cannot wait to be a party of so many more.
