Biography

Nikki Nouveau is an Australian-born classically-trained singer, songwriter, performing artist and producer who sings in Greek, French, German and English. She is an avid storyteller whose passion is to inspire audiences through music, language and culture. She was nominated as a finalist for the 2023 Australian Women In Music Awards in the Live Creative Production category and she has consistently toured with her own productions throughout Australia and internationally for over a decade in a diverse performance career, specialising in French-themed entertainment. Her musical style incorporates ... jazz, cabaret, contemporary and musical theatre.
Her long-running hit show No Regrets: The Edith Piaf Story, a musical biography of her French idol Edith Piaf, continues to draw great acclaim. Inspired by the success of the show, Nikki released her 2020 debut album "No Regrets - Love and Piaf" recorded in French and English.
Nikki's one-woman production Kabaret Dietrich, an embodiment of the immortal memory of Marlene Dietrich delivered in German, French and English, premiered at the Melbourne Cabaret Festival. Theatre People described her performance as "the epitome of class and reinvention" in a 5-star review. Her popular show "Bordello Blues" enjoyed a sold-out season of 5 shows at Edinburgh Festival Fringe, leading to the recording of her 2017 EP of the same name.
