Biography

I am Peter Romulus, a Qualified Trained Vocalist and an experienced Keyboardist from Sri Lanka. I have been performing music since 2004 in the capacity of a Lead Singer / Keyboardist for Western music bands and then in the capacity of a solo artist at varies star class hotels, pubs, bars and Karaoke from time to time.
In fact, I have been performing music for the past 20 years at star class tourist hotels and resorts and my wide repertoire consists of English Pop songs and demanding commercial hits covering Lobby, Bar and Dinners music.

This is to certify that Mr. Peter Romulus Fernando Arsecularatne has taken individual singing lessons from me for a period of one year. His voice fraining included all the different vocal exercises to develop Strength, Tone, BreathControl, Clarity of Dictation and Extended — Range.

Tomorrow, Christmas Eve the four piece outfit Shine will be featured at the Riverina Hotel, Beruwala playing an interesting programme of traditional Christmas carols and music to welcome Christmas Day. The band will also be in live action at the much awaited New ouses Year's Eve celebrations at the same hotel down South. Shine who play regularly at the Riverina Hotel, are also featured at the Palms and Eden. Their schedule is quite crowded with playing at private functions, weddings and dances. THIS CONTRACT is made and entered into on this 15th Day of. December Two Thousand and Nine (2009) by and between SERENDIB HOTELS PLC a Company duly incorporated in the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and having its registered Offce at AA. Building, 40, Sir Mohamed Macan Markar Mawatha, Colombo 03 of the first part and:
Mr. K. P. Romulas Arsakularathne of No. 200/18, Uyana Road, Lunawa, Moratuwa (holder of National Identity Card No 690620170 V) being the Leader of the Member Dance Band operating under the name "POWERED".
WHEREAS SERENDIB HOTELS PLC. is operating a hotel in by the name of Hotel
Serendib which provides leisure, recreation and entertainment facilities;
AND WHEREAS SERENDIB HOTELS PLC. is desirous of obtaining the services of the Five
Dance Band operating under the name POWERED to perform at Hotel Serendib on 24th December 2009 and 31st December 2009 subject to the terms and conditions hereinafter set out; (Subject to change since 31 December 2009, fallen on a Poya Day — which will be communicated in advance).
1. Band
The Band should comprise of 5 (Five) members and include the following:

3. Performance Schedule
On each date on which the Band has been contracted to play, the Band will commence playing at 2000 hrs. and conclude at 0200 hrs. ( 8.00 p.m. to 2 a.m.) Members of the Band will be allowed a Fifteen (15) Minute break after every 45 minute performance. The approximate frequencies at which the Band should play during the evening is indicated below. The Band should commence playing right aner each music session handled by the DJs
2000 -2030 hrs Band — Soft Music
2030 Band - Music for Santa's Arrival
2030 - 2100 hrs DJ (soft Music ) - Dinner Break
2100 - 2145 hrs Band
2145 - 2200 hrs
2200 - 2245 hrs Band

On X'mas eve (24, 12.2008) the DJ is requested to perform X'mas songs during their 4th playin% slot. (2345 2400 hrs) and the Band is requested to perform X'mas songs during their 5 playing slot. (0000 — 0045 hrs).
4. Food & Beverage during Performance
The Members of the band will be served with dinner & five (3) rounds of soft drinks of their choice free of charge during their performance each night whilst extra food and beverage consumed by Members of the Band would be charged at guest rates.
Conduct
Members of the Band should strictly refrain from using the hotel outlets and public areas. Members should be on their best behaviour and they shall be totally responsible and answerable to the Management of Hotel Serendib for any act of misconduct within the Hotel premises.
6. Recovery of Darnages/Losses
The Management of Hotel Serendib reserves the absolute right to claim and recover from Members of the Band, the total loss and/or damages that may be caused as a result of any disruption to the scheduled programme or failure by the Band to perform as per the terms of this contract.

Cancellation
Notwithstanding the foregoing terms and conditions, the Management reserves the absolute right to rescind this contract immediately on any one of the members of the Band being found guilty of insobriety or any other act amounting to breach of any of the expressed or implied terms of this contract.
8. Entertainment of Family Members/Friends
In keeping with Management Policy, no family members or friends could be entertained by members of the Band during their performance on 24th and 31 st December 2009 as the two functions are exclusively for In-House guests.
9. Changing Room
A guest room for the use of band members for dressing purposes will be provided subject to availability.
10. Payment for Performance
Hotel Serendib agrees to pay an all inclusive fee of Rupees Sixty Thousand (Rs. to the Band POWERED in respect of the two performance al Hotel Serendib on 24th December 2009 and 31 a December 2009. The Rs. will cover the payment for the five member Band, Sound Equipments, DJ, Lighting System and Transport etc.
The first payment of Rs. will be paid on satisfactory compleüon of performance on 2401 December 2009. The balance payment would be made on satisfactory completion of performance on 3 I A December 2009.
This Agreement sets forth the entire understanding between the parties concerning the subject matter of this Agreement and incorporates all prior negotiations and understandings. No alteration, amendment, change or addition to this agreement shall be binding upon any party unless in writing and signed by a.ll the parties hereto
