The band have played at hundreds of weddings, corporate events and private parties throughout the years. Having worked hard to gain a reputation for being one of the UK’s leading party bands, Popwork work tirelessly to ensure that each and every show is as good, if not better than their last.
As you might expect, playing to so many varieties of audiences would call for varied genres of music. Popwork cater for all age groups and tastes by mixing up their standard set lists with material from their extensive back-catalogue for the benefit of a mixed-age event like a wedding, birthday party ... or outdoor festival.
There is a lot of pressure on anyone organizing a wedding or corporate event, to find a perfect band that guarantees both an incredible night of live music, as well as a full dance floor from start to finish. We hired the band for my 50th birthday party. I corresponded with the band before the performance which really put my mind at rest and helped select an 80’s themed playlist. The band arrived in plenty of time to set up and sound check - we had hired a marquee with stage and the band ran a ‘live feed’ into the adjacent club house where the bar was which made sure that everyone could hear the live music, and a before and after set of recorded music. The performance was absolutely first rate – every one of my guests said that the quality of the performance was absolutely first class, including stage presence, professionalism and the quality of the music. The PA was perfect, producing a great sound which enabled everyone to dance without ever being overpowered. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience on the night and would recommend Dan and the rest of Popwork to anyone (private individual or corporate) looking for a live band to perform at a wedding, party, charity night or ...

Top top band. This is the band that you need to have at your wedding. If you are already married then plan a big party just to have them, maybe its your dogs birthday? Or your child has lost a tooth? Find the occasion and you wont be disappointed. The communication before the event was ace. We had a large list to pick the songs from or alternatively you could just ask them to play one of their own sets. On the day the whole band was very professional. They all were very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much for them. The were the dancing-until-I-could-dance-no-more cherry on the top or our cake. THANK YOU GUYS! They are almost worth getting married again for!!!
