Description

Potty the Pirate provides hilarious interactive magic and puppet shows for kids and family events. Full of original routines and engaging characters, amazing magic and songs on the pirate guitar (Venezuelan cuatro). Potty also offers a big choice of beautiful balloon models - specialising in quick but awesome designs.
With over 20 years' experience, Potty guarantees an entertainment experience that will keep everyone laughing and engaged.
He offers close-up magic as Potty the Pirate, or can transform into Douglas Howarth, magician, classical guitarist and jazz singer. With a background i ... n theatre and opera, Howarth sings a broad selection of traditional styles from Rat Pack style crooning to folk, musical theatre, and opera. An accomplished guitarist, he plays folk and pop style, as well as many familiar classical guitar solos.
Potty the Pirate has appeared on TV several times, including the award-winning documentary "Clowns".

Hi Potty, I just wanted to say a huge "thank you" for all your efforts at Connie's birthday party yesterday. She had a fantastic time and all her friends agreed that you were "awesome" with a couple insisting that I speak to their Mums so that they can have you at their party. It can't be easy entertaining that many 5 year olds but they were totally enthralled and were still giggling into the evening. You were, as ever, totally professional and took away all the worry so that I even managed to enjoy the party myself which I can assure you isn't usual! The fact that we have booked you so many time and still find you so entertaining is testament to your fabulous skill in giving all the kids (and grown ups) a fun filled party. Thanks yet again.
