With over 10 years of performing experience at numerous concerts, weddings, birthday parties, anniversary parties, ceremonies, corporate and private events Randall plays a mix of classical, spanish, flamenco, pop, jazz, and rock instrumental guitar music.
I have a wide selection of repertoire perfect for any event whether it be an intimate setting, birthday party, wedding, or a lively gathering.
I would like to make the music portion of your event as easy as possible. I always show up early and can set up and provide music and ambiance with little or no direction. And I am also open to c ... ustom requests and song arrangements if you have a particular vision in mind.
As a solo classical guitarist I can setup an play without needing any equipment. for larger gatherings where amplification is required (gatherings of 20 people or more amplification is recommended) I have a small portable battery powered amp so no access to power is necessary for convenience.

I offer personalized music lessons to all skill levels to aid in meeting your music goals. Teaching and playing music is my passion and I want to help you realize your passion for music too!

Training:
I have attained a MFA degree in classical guitar performance and composition from California Institute of the Arts and a Bachelors in music with a focus on music education from California State University East Bay where I studied with renowned artists and educators.

Experience:
I have been teaching guitar and composition lessons at all skill levels ages 5 to adults for over eight years in schools, private studios, and online. In addition I have been an active performing, touring and recording musician in classical, rock, metal, folk, celtic, flamenco, pop, etc. for over 10 years performing with various bands and musicians such as Botanist and Jim Hurley (former violinist for Ritchie Blackmore) and as a solo performer.

Curriculum:
Through my years developing as a self taught guitarist, then formal education, and years of educating, I have developed my approach to teaching essential music fundamentals and music theory while customizing the approach to each individuals goals, strengths, and music preferences.
