Description

Richard has been drawing caricatures for all kinds of events since 1998. His drawings are quick and accurate, and have amused many thousands of people, including such celebrities as Phil Tufnell, Curtly Ambrose, Simon Weston, Jayne Torvill and Linda Lusardi. He has also worked for many household name companies, and at hundreds of weddings and private parties. He is based in Birmingham and is happy to work nationwide. Most importantly, he enjoys working with people in all kinds of situations, and regards his interactions with guests as a central part of his act.

Biography

Richard was born in Derby, grew up in Bristol, went to Birmingham to study and never quite left. He is both an artist and a photographer.

Experience

Richard's drawing technique has evolved over the years so that now he works mainly in pen and ink, in a way which makes a quick but strong impression at live bookings. This means that guests always have a great souvenir of the day. He has worked everywhere from cruise ships to offices to barracks!
