I play a mixture of Jazz standards and jazzed-up versions of rock, pop and dance hits. Think Jazz standards like 'LOVE' and 'Lady Is a Tramp' but also, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Amy Winehouse and old school dance hits like 'Rhythm Is A Dancer' in a jazz style. I have a unique sound (drawn from years of experience playing professionally as you can see from my reviews!) so I've put together a list of videos of live recordings so you can get the best idea of what I sound like. - I ... offer a choice of 2 x 45 minutes or 3 x 45 minute sets, which can be spread over a 3 hour period.
- I come fully equipped with PA equipment suitable and have various set ups to suit differently sized events.
- I have a battery powered PA for outdoor events suitable for up to 75 guests.
- I offer background music between sets so there is no lull during the event.

Biography

With a voice from years gone by, but a repertoire that's up to the minute modern, Rosie Holman brings something special.
Born and raised in the Thames Delta in a family of musicians, Rosie lives and breathes the music of a bygone era, bringing a real authenticity to the soul and jazz music she sings. It's hard not to make comparisons to the likes of Billie, Ella and Amy, yet she remains unique. Like the greats, Rosie's craft has been honed over many years, first in the pubs and clubs and then some of the UK's most well known venues.

Experience

I’ve been singing professionally since 2011, playing in various band set ups and went solo with backing tracks in 2015 too.
I’ve worked on stage in theatres, pubs, clubs and provided entertainment for weddings, parties, hen dos, anniversary parties and countless private events in venues and private residences across the UK.
My absolute favourite events are intimate gatherings of 30 people or less, where I can create a warm and relaxed atmosphere while everyone chats!
