Experience

Stand up Comedian / Compere who first performed a five minute unrehearsed and improvised set at an open-mic night at a Birmingham pub in 1999 (he filled in for his mate who was planned to appear but 'bottled it' at the last minute)
After only a handful of local gigs he put his comedy career on hold as he left home in a leafy suburb of East Birmingham and relocated to Jersey where he worked in a bank for two years (being a fan of the 1980s crime drama 'Bergerac' helped him with his decision).
After returning to the UK mainland, he enrolled on a stand up comedy course before resuming gigg ... ing - this time further afield and not just at the local pub five minutes from his house.
Jump forward to 2024 and Ryan continues to perform every week up and down the UK where he is mainly booked as an MC/Compere in Comedy Clubs. If you do not see him on a stage, he can be found power napping in an A-road layby at 4am.
Ryan is a member of the entertainers trade union, Equity, and has public liability insurance.
