this guy is brilliantly funny, very charismatic too. great stories and delivery of the punchlines, everybody in the room had tears in their eyes with laughter. He even disarmed a heckler brilliantly to the standing applause of the crowd, and stayed for photos with everybody, great guy. Off to see him again soon, cant wait.

I've seen Ryan twice now and he is A first-class stand-up act with an incredible knack for keeping his comedy local no matter where he is. I really enjoyed his set and would highly recommend him. he has excellent comedy timing and not only that, has the ability to really make people genuinely laugh. great performance.

I have had the pleasure of seeing Ryan on a number of occasions now as MC and host of various comedy nights and he never fails to impress me. He engages with the audience as soon as he walks on stage with a wickedly dry sense of humour and uses the audience with great aplomb. He can even impress by telling you the dialing code for any city in the UK. My wife and I are actually going to see one of his comedy shows in a couple of weeks time and can't wait.

Experience

Stand up Comedian / Compere who first performed a five minute unrehearsed and improvised set at an open-mic night at a Birmingham pub in 1999 (he filled in for his mate who was planned to appear but 'bottled it' at the last minute)
After only a handful of local gigs he put his comedy career on hold as he left home in a leafy suburb of East Birmingham and relocated to Jersey where he worked in a bank for two years (being a fan of the 1980s crime drama 'Bergerac' helped him with his decision).
After returning to the UK mainland, he enrolled on a stand up comedy course before resuming gigg ... ing - this time further afield and not just at the local pub five minutes from his house.
Jump forward to 2023 and Ryan continues to perform every week up and down the UK where he is mainly booked as an MC/Compere in Comedy Clubs. If you do not see him on a stage, he can be found power napping in an A-road layby at 4am.
Ryan is a member of the entertainers trade union, Equity, and has public liability insurance.
