Description

Two very experienced and passionate musicians, joined forces to create beautiful music. Now performing under the duo 'RYT' we want to deliver music that people recognise, and can relate to emotionally. We spend a lot of our time producing arrangements of well known songs, which people of all ages tend to know. When performing live, we like to adapt to the type of audience we’re in front of, and create the perfect atmosphere for them, tailoring our repertoire to their needs. We have a mixture of backing tracks which we perform to (which we have produced) but also love to just play live with a ... piano, or guitar whilst singing.

Biography

Ryan graduated from the University of Huddersfield with a BA (Hons) degree in Music Technology. He’s gone onto gig for years all over the country, including performing at the Isle Of Wight Festival in 2015. Ryan doesn't only sing, he can also play the piano, guitar, ukulele, clarinet, and the now, very popular native instruments maschine pad, which he sometimes integrates into our set during gigs. Tania was offered a place at BIMM at the young age of 14, and has gone on to sing and gig for years, including touring with the American Band - The Drifters when she was just 16, which stood her in ... good stead for being able to learn and sing any song from any era which she was given. With both of these great individual experiences, coming together as a duo has been amazing, and helped us both grow into an act that we love, and are so excited to share with everyone. In 2017, RYT were asked to audition for ITV’s The Voice UK, and had to go through several intense auditions in front of the producers to be able to get chosen out of the 30,000 acts who auditioned, to get the opportunity to perform on the TV in front of the 4 coaches. We chose to sing to the JCB Song by Nizlopi, with our own arrangement, which amazingly, 3 out of the 4 coaches turned for! We can’t wait to now share our diverse love for music with you all!
