These experienced performers inspire unique and memorable moments through the use of different movement props such as hoops, poi, and fans, to awaken senses and trigger imaginations! We keep it salty from impressive plate spinning and tantalizing led whips, wings and many marvels. They perform across Saskatchewan and Western Canada; from festivals and fundraisers to street shows and music videos. The SC brings a flavor to various types of celebrations all-the-while promoting the limitless benefits of flow arts to endorse physical and mental well being and increase lust for life!!

Meet the Act

The term ‘flow arts’ draws from many ancient
cultures and modern dance forms; from Maori poi
spinning to fire dancing, from martial arts and tai-chi,
to circus arts and hula hooping. The flow arts is
interdisciplinary and incorporates emerging movement-
based art forms along with core values of dance and circus
skill-based prop manipulations, a diverse repertoire of
professionals and props, both in LED and Fire:
Poi, Snakes, Palm Candles, Torches, Hoops, Staves, Fans,
Dragon Staff, Fire Eating, Rope Dart, Juggling, and more...

Each Salty Circus (SC) performance and workshop inspire development, creativity, and imaginations; providing magical presentations that awaken senses and memorize with use of bending light, interactive characters, geometric design, themed costuming, flame effects and visual imaging with our unforgettable antics.
