Hello I’m Samira Prentice a singer-songwriter born in Edinburgh, I’ve been singing since I was a child, I started publicly performing online during lockdown for a Facebook entertainment page called Lancaster Live (now called Music Tube) who reached out to me through social media to perform weekly online, I entertained the public by singing an hour of cover songs on live streams for various groups and other social media platforms which then lead to me writing my own original songs my first original song was in aid of Marie Curie Hospice Edinburgh for the terminally ill, I’ve helped charit ... ies through my music such as Radio Forth Cash for Kids and I’ve also collaborated with different artists from all over the world with covers and originals, I’m an independent artist I mainly perform pop music but I’m versatile to other genres such as blues and country. I'm a singer/songwriter I've released original songs on all music platforms, I enjoy creating cover art for my music as well as helping encourage and support other artists, collaborating on songs and projects, I started through the lockdown by entertaining the public with singing live on live streams and taking part in live interviews and radio.
I'm also interested in art I produced a collage of Amy Winehouse which was highly rated. I was a runner up in an Edinburgh wide art competition and presented with a prize by the Lord Provost.
